IPv6 - Why do we need a new protocol?

IPv4, the existing protocol for Internet developed 20 years ago, is fast running out of addresses as the spread of Internet has been far beyond expectations. IPv6, the new protocol is adopting fast. Google has been one of the pioneers in adopting the system.

Hi Sachin
the increase in no of address bit(128 bit as compare to ipv4 32 bit)are not intented geographical saturation with usable addresses. Rather, the large number allows a better, systematic, hierarchical allocation of addresses and efficient route aggregation.
let me know if u need more inforamtion on this.
